Education

I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in psychology and Master’s of Social Work from Florida State University.

Work Experience

I have worked in crisis/suicide counseling, end-of-life care and bereavement counseling as well as telehealth cognitive behavioral health programs.

My passion for perinatal mental health began when I developed the perinatal mental health screening program for the statewide Family Health Line. Now, as a mother myself, I have a better appreciation for the complexities of motherhood; the challenge of caring deeply for your children while also staying connected to your own identity, needs and sense of self. I believe becoming a mother shouldn’t mean losing yourself in the process.
